My name is Ezana and I've been writing
since I was a little kid. Writing is more than skill you simply learn and apply. Writing is a way of thinking, not just about your assignment, but about your life. It truly is an art
I was able to come to this conclusion not only through my own free-writing exercises, but throughout my rigorous high-school courses. I took all honors and AP Language
courses throughout high-school. I have been exposed to many of the classic novels. Through my studies, I've been able to analytically break them down, detect all of the literary devices used in them, and been able to understand the significance of classic novels (The Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Men, etc.) on a much deeper level. As a writing tutor at my high school's writing center, I was able to help many students come to this understanding as readers and writers as well.
On a daily basis, I taught the fundamental techniques or writing to a variety of students. This included:
.Outlining the structure of an essay
.Analyzing literature for underlying themes and motifs
.Brainstorming potential ideas for essay responses
.Spell check and grammar
.Going through multiple drafts to present a final paper at it's highest quality
.Providing students with a checklist of things to overlook for any future assignments
The types of writing I was able to teach ranged from book reports and college essays, all the way to semester long projects. I will personally guide you from the idea phase all the way to the final draft, instilling habits along the way that will enable you to become a stronger writer overtime.
With me, I will not only teach you how to write, I will teach you how to be an independent, analytical, and critical thinker. You will be learn how to outline your own writing with confidence, as well as interpret the meanings of any writing you come across.
I hope I get the distinct honor of helping you become the best writer you can be!
