I am originally from Sudan and Arabic Language is my native tongue. I hold a B.Sc. in Economics and social Sciences, Khratoum University, B.Sc. (Honors) in Social Anthropology, Khartoum University, M.A. in Sociology of Development, University of Sussex, U.K., and four years as a matriculant doctoral student at NYU, New York City.
I have more than 25-year experience in teaching and tutoring Arabic Language to non-Arabic speakers. I have similar long experience in Arabic-English translation and interpretation.
I have been teaching Arabic Language and Culture since 2004 at the Foreign Service Institute, State Department, Arlington, Virginia , and at the Fairfax County Adult Community Education Center, Fairfax county, Virginia.
