Julia was on time, very cordial, and professional. She demonstrated a great deal of confidence, and instantly took charge and made our daughter feel comfortable. At the end, she explained what was covered and had taught our daughter some good tricks to remembering certain concepts she found confusing. Julia asked for copies of old tests to prepare for the next session, went over what would be covered, and said she would send some material for her to practice in advance. Julia admitted a slight weakness in one Algebra Unit that she will be covering with our daughter, but assured us she would be up to the task when we met up again. While this was our first meeting with Julia, our sense is that she is honest, dependable, and knows her math well. It is also clear she is eager and able to transfer her knowledge to others. I would definitely recommend Julia.
