I am a female senior attending Virginia Tech working on a Computer Engineering degree. Some of my strong points are Math, Spanish, Poetry, Psychology and computer work. I can help with building study skills and preparing for any tests. As far as the Spanish goes, a lot of the Spanish classes remain the same for many years. I've been taking Spanish throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school, so I know the methods many teachers use to teach Spanish and have used the same materials that many Spanish learners are using in class. I was in Spanish Immersion 1st through 6th grade, went on to take Spanish 1 in 7th grade, Spanish 2 in 8th grade, Spanish 3 in 9th grade, AP Spanish Language in 10th grade (I received a 5 out of 5 for college credit), and AP Spanish Lit in 11th Grade (I received a 4 out of 5 for college credit), and am nearly complete with my Spanish minor. Part of what I did in high school was tutor Spanish, so I can help get grades up quickly. I am currently learning to play guitar, played advanced flute, played viola for a short time, played percussion for a year and have been singing in choirs, choruses, and competitions since before elementary school. So not only can I be of help in some of these areas, but I am very well acquainted with reading sheet music. I am A+ certified meaning if your computer breaks, I'm one of the first people you can come to to learn how to fix it. As far as sports come, I'm extremely aware of the ins and outs of soccer. I have been playing since elementary school, played in House teams, Travel teams, in competitions against Olympic development teams, and have been invited to play overseas. I have been an assistant coach for 12 year old girls and plan to coach more in the future. I am a very personable person, will take your goals seriously, and will work as hard as possible to see that your goals are met or that you are on the right path to success.
