I have a passion for Math. I have been teaching and tutoring part time for the last 25 years. While in college, I was on the Putnam Intercollegiate Math Competition team for 3 consecutive years, and won several math competitions. I had a 4.0 GPA in math as an undergraduate (graduating with more than twice the number of required credit hours in math). I also obtained a perfect score in Computer Science (20 out of 20) while a student at the University Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris, France. I enjoy explaining math to others and sharing the excitement that I have about the subject.
I received perfect scores (800 out of 800) on both SAT Math Level 1 and Math Level 2.
Besides regular math courses, I have taught problem-solving classes to prepare for Mathcounts, the Math League Contest, the Math Kangaroo Competition, the American Mathematics Competition (AMC 8, 10, and 12), the Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament, and the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) -- these classes prepare kids to go on the USA and International Mathematical Olympiads.
I also provide online lessons via the WyzAnt Online Platform.
Please note that lesson time is for a minimum of 90 minutes (30 minutes minimum for online lessons.)
