Before applying to college, I scored in the 93% on the ACT among all high schoolers in the nation. I was highly successful as an undergraduate biology and Spanish double major at Virginia Tech University. During my years at college I worked as a substitute teacher in grades K-12 for three years. After working at a few local schools teaching students Spanish, biology, chemistry, computer science, math, and English, I was offered a full-time teaching position. At the time I had another job and was not able to commit to the position; however, I feel confident that I am capable of teaching a breadth of subjects and that my teaching experience will ensure that the subjects make sense to each student.
I am currently working in an emergency room and consequently work shift work; therefore I can be available almost any day of the week with some advanced notice. I would love an opportunity to work with you, your child, or your friend in whichever subject he or she feels requires the most attention.
All the best,
