I received a bachelor's degree in journalism from Baylor University. I worked for the school's newspaper for 2.5 years, spending a year and a half as a staff writer and a year as an editor. During my time as an editor, I was the go-to person for two classes of reporters. I helped them with story ideas, guided them through the process of writing stories as needed, and edited their work thoroughly, pushing them to improve the quality of their work.
I further honed my research skills while doing background work for an author during college, and today I write for a non-profit organization. Writing is an essential part of my life, and I would be so excited to have the chance to help you become a confident writer, too!
