Hello! I recently graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. and M.S. in Environmental Science and Policy. At Stanford, I took a wide array of coursework, including: geology, ecology, linear algebra, multivariable calculus, inorganic and organic chemistry, microeconomics, statistics, public speaking, writing, conservation biology, public policy, meteorology, physics (mechanics, light and heat), negotiation, GIS, modeling, remote sensing, and more! I am proficient with Photoshop and Office and have extensive experience with ArcGIS, Matlab, R, ENVI, CSS, and HTML. My oral communication skills have been praised by experts in the environmental field. Papers I have helped write and edit have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
I have experience working with students of all ages. I have taught geology to first graders; studio arts to first through fifth graders; ecology, calculus, and linear algebra to high school students; and physics to college students. I am easy-going and will work with students to figure out teaching methods that work best for them.
