Cheers Everyone,
My name is Anthony and I have a flair for explaining complex things, simply. If your child is struggling with any historical topic, I have the experience and patience to guide them towards greater understanding and much better grades.
I have over 1.5 years of history tutoring and teaching experience at the University of Texas at Austin, where I worked as a Teaching Assistant for the Center for Middle Eastern Studies. I gave lectures, directed tutoring sessions individually with dozens of students, and gave detailed feedback to email queries as well. I am very widely read: the history of the Middle East is my forte, but I am well-versed in British Indian history, 19th-century European history, modern Cold War history, and much more.
My methods are clear and direct: I help my students grasp historical context before bewildering them with details. I am a patient, friendly, and gentle tutor who does not believe in putting needless pressure on students. More than anything, I hope to transmit just a little of the love I bear for history to my students, and watch them thrive.
Lastly, I am also very capable of giving lessons in English, particularly in vocabulary and proper essay writing. I have logged well over 1000 pages of writing in my life, and I don't even have a PhD yet!
All the best,
Anthony
