Hello Everybody,

My name is David, and I'm the expert tutor you're looking for. With more than a decade of experience teaching in special education, I have a great deal of experience with many levels of K-12 curriculum. I have particularly good experience with teaching reading and writing, study and organizational skills, test preparation, as well enrichment and compensation.

I've taught in Virginia, DC, and Maryland, focusing on science, reading and writing, and math. In addition, I have 5 years substitute teaching experience in New York, with grades K-12.

In general, I favor a "hands-on" approach to teaching that involves interaction between tutor and student, parents, and school. My specific methods make use of my special education experience, being very individualized.
