Spanish Language and Culture Tutor for all ages

Spanish is my first language. I was born in La Habana, Cuba, into a family of teachers. After leaving Cuba, I lived and worked in Madrid, Spain. I am an American citizen. I went to the University of Havana and completed a Ph.D. in Psychology. All my credentials have been evaluated in the United States. I have also completed a Master degree at Barry University in Florida.

In the United States, I am a Spanish tutor. I teach Spanish reading, writing, pronunciation and understanding of the spoken language. My classes are personalized, dynamic and lots of fun. Children and adults enjoy my classes and I get great personal pride in seeing my students succeed.

I have been teaching adults and children in the Northern Virginia area for the last seven years. I have a lot of experience tutoring children and adults on a one-to-one basis. I also provide innovative lessons trough Internet.

I have been working with different language schools located in the Northern of Virginia, such as the Diplomatic Language Services (DLS), and the Language Instruction and Translation (LIT), teaching Spanish as second language at the Foreign Service Institute (FSI); to children at selected Arlington Elementary Schools, and adults at LIT. I have been teaching, as a private teacher, one-on-one at students’ home in Arlington, VA for more than six years.
