I am a native Arabic speaker. I studied Arabic between 7 and 18 years of age. I tutored Arabic at Georgetown University.
I used to be a biology major. I took the following courses: Intro bio 1, Intro bio 2, genetics, marine biology, evolutionary biology, molecular evolution, physiology, virology, and molecular biology
I can help you out. I took two chemistry courses during my education at Georgetown University, getting an A and an A-. Then, I took two organic chemistry courses. I excelled in chemistry that I have been tutoring the chemistry of the MCAT for more than a year now. If you are interested, let me know, as the first hour is FREE.
I have been working out for the last five years. We are talking here about a nice body physique, toned or buffed, depending on your preferences. You want guns, abs, and chest? Then have me as your personal trainer. Nothing can match the experience of five years of weight-lifting, abs, and daily pushups. It saddens me to see guys at the gym not increasing in muscle or strength because of their bad performance.
I was a biology major. I took genetics. I also know the genetics of the MCATs.
I took two courses in Statistics while I was in College, and I scored A and A- on them. I used Minitab on a weekly basis for these courses, and finished off with a major project where I was using Minitab daily for an entire week. Then, I used my skills in Minitab to make figures out of databases, which were used by an advocacy group to lobby Congress. In essence, my figures were seen by Congressional staff and were considered when deciding on the budget of the National Institutes of Health. I am very qualified at using Minitab.
I took the MCAT class and did a total of 13 practice tests. My average score was a 35, which is in the 95th percentile.
I have been using Microsoft Windows since I was 12 years old. Now I am 24, so it has been 12 years, and over the past six years, I have used it professionally during my bachelor's degree, master's degree and at work. In fact, I am so good at Microsoft Windows that I help staff on a daily basis with managing their computers and running various applications.
During my undergraduate studies at Georgetown University, I pursued the pre-medicine route, which necessitated taking two courses of organic chemistry. I took two courses and got an A- in both, with an A- in the labs as well. I can help with organic chemistry and I have the lab reports as well. In addition, I used my knowledge in organic chemistry to tutor the MCAT, something that I have been doing for about a year now. I believe that finishing two courses from Georgetown University in organic chemistry with high grades, and using my knowledge to tutor organic chemistry for MCAT students, makes me qualified to tutor organic chemistry for non-MCAT students.
I took two physics courses at Georgetown University, Intro Physics I and Intro Physics II. I scored an A and A- in these classes. Then, I took my knowledge in physics to tutor the MCAT, something that I have been doing for almost a year now. One of the subjects in the MCAT is physics, a subject that I have tutored for many times and excelled at.
I am a tour guide. I also took a public speaking class. I am very good at public speaking and I don't get the panics that many people get. Goodbye to sweating and freezing before an audience! I'm your guy!
I know STATA very well. I bought a book on it written by Professor Longest. I studied the book intensively over a two-month period. After that, I enrolled in two online courses for STATA with NetCourse 101. I used my knowledge to work at my current fellowship to examine large databases, produce descriptive statistics, create new variables and generate graphs for histograms, boxplots, logistic regression and ANOVA. I also used it to study surveys and generate conclusions about these surveys. I know the commands and methods of using STATA to help you with your homework assignments and projects.
I was on a full-scholarship to Georgetown University for undergraduate and master's studies, since I was the first in my hometown back in Iraq. I graduated from Georgetown undergraduate studies with a 3.67 GPA in pre-med and biology, and was the valedictorian of my master;s program, graduating with a GPA of 3.9. Now I work on Capitol Hill to monitor health policy. I have high organizational skills, especially when it comes to study skills, given my performance academically and professionally.
In addition to the aforementioned qualifications, I have tutored the MCAT with WyzAnt since September of last year, helping students with their preparation for the examination that determines their acceptance in medical school. My students have been high satisfied with my services.
