We just got back from my daughter's first session with Paul on SAT prep, and she is absolutely thrilled with his support and advice. She's feeling better about college prep than she has in months!
And I wanted to update our review to add that after four (or five?) sessions with Paul my daughter moved her SAT reading score up 110 points to an 800. Paul is a wonderfully patient tutor who manages to make the most difficult math understandable. In preparing for the GREs, I had to re-learn much of my math after years away from the subject. In many areas it was like learning math from scratch. Paul made it easy and understandable. I wish I had him for a tutor when I was in high school and college! I highly recommend him to anyone needing math help, or preparing for the GRE. He knows all the tricks of taking standardized tests and makes them seem far less daunting.

Our son will be a senior this year and we wanted him to take another shot at the SAT exam. While preparing to retake an exam, it can be easy for the student to feel as if they know it all and become bored and lack focus. During their first session Paul quickly establish a trust with our son that lead to him to a renewed interest and purpose toward the exam. We are so happy we found him.

I've been pleased with Paul's approach. He knows the material, is positive and makes learning fun. Our daughter has some LD issues and Paul understands her needs and can accommodate accordingly. We're doing ACT-SAT material and he has offered some very good advice in how to approach the test, learn the material and has even provided her with some relaxation techniques to apply when taking the test.
