I am well versed in European, American, and Middle Eastern History. I have extensively studied Art History. I currently hold a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a minor in Russian History. I have obtained a Master's Degree in Government with concentrations in Middle East Studies and Infrastructure. Through my undergraduate studies and two Masters programs I am highly proficient in writing and reading as required in test prep and all levels of paper submissions. I will be able to help students through various requirements based on class needs to provide a finished product.

I will also be able to help me student go through outlines and rough drafts to develop concepts in papers. In addition, I can hep students obtain focal points in reading to help clarify their assignments and reading requirements. While not fluent I have also studied French and Arabic and carry some proficiency. I currently work as a research historian so I am able to provide insight to help my students find proper sources for their assignments as well as helping with instructional research assistance.

American History

I have completed both an undergraduate and graduate degree in history. I have extensively studied American history and have the tools to assist students from grade school through graduate studies in this arena. I currently work as a historical researcher and writer for the USMC History Division.

Government & Politics

I currently hold a BS in Political Science and a Masters in Government. I have extensively studied both US and international government systems. I am able to work with students on a wide range of topics from country and political system development to political affiliations, founding nation documents, etc. A large amount of my studies also focused on international relations and historic political alliances.

Literature

I am an avid student of the classics and can readily explain and promote learning of everything from Shakespeare to Plato. I have studied American, French, and Italian literature. I have assisted others in understanding the more complex and underlying concepts.

SAT Reading

I have successfully taken the SAT and I am able to assist with reading comprehension to help prepare for the SAT test. I focus on the overall process of the test as well as specific areas of reading comprehension, grammar, accuracy, and story development to help students feel more comfortable during testing.

While in high school and college I participated in many policy debts and took several public debate courses successfully. I do a great deal of public speaking in my current position as well as writing position papers for congressional candidates while helping them to prepare for speeches.
