I recently taught an upper level undergraduate course titled ‘Environmental Policy’ at the University College of Washington University in St. Louis during the summer of 2011. I also was a Visiting Professor at the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain, UAE from September 2010 to January 2011 teaching Global Agricultural Food Trade and Introduction to Agribusiness Economics to Emirati college students. Furthermore, I have taught Principles of Economics at Saint Louis University, and undergraduate labs for Principles of Micro and Macroeconomics at the University of Missouri-Columbia. This has given me the practical experience of applying economic principles to the classroom, and has given me the opportunity to interact with a diverse student background.

Research and teaching have given me experience and exposure to a wide variety of deadlines and projects that economists, professors, and students expect from me. The teaching positions involved preparing lesson plans and presenting technical information to students from different backgrounds, whereas the research portion has allowed me to use my analytical skills to develop research in the field of Applied Economics.
