I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2008, where I majored in English Literature, and minored in 'Jewish, Islamic, and Near Eastern Studies' and 'Text and Tradition' with a 3.54 GPA.

I worked for two years at a non-profit in the communications department, writing, interviewing, and editing. During that time, I picked up my current photography hobby, which I continue today.

Soccer

I began playing soccer when I could walk. In grades 6-8, I played 'travel' soccer, a level of competition a notch above typical town intramural sports. I played all four years in high-school, and was named captain my senior year. I played 4 years of intramural soccer in college (we won our senior year). Foot drills, passing, striking, endurance, weight training, attacking angles... I can teach it all!

Hebrew

I've been learning since I was 5. From elementary school-high school, I attended a Jewish private school, where I studied Hebrew literature every day. I have been to Israel 7 times, most recently on a 6 month program where I learned Hebrew at the highest possible level of Hebrew class (called 'Ulpan' in Israel). I speak essentially fluent Hebrew, and can read and write at a very high level.

Drums

I have been drumming since my parents first bought me a drum kit in 1999 (I was 13). In 2010 I appeared on the Washington University campus for my former band's very successful debut. I have filled in or drummed with other bands for the last 5-7 years. I have a good knowledge of rhythm, time, and notation.

Photography

I would be an excellent match for a novice photographer. I have been steadily shooting for about two years.

The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
