I have a passion for teaching and I have outstanding teaching abilities. My teaching abilities are complemented by my excellent communication skills and I have the demonstrated ability to resolve highly complex subjects into more easily understandable concepts. My enjoyment of teaching allows me to easily gain rapport with those I teach or tutor. I feel it is absolutely imperative that the teaching experience include an environment that fosters the student's sense of pride and worth and that the student grow in confidence as the student masters the subject taught.
I have always enjoyed learning, but there have been times that I have struggled because some aspect of what I was attempting to learn was not clearly explained or I failed to grasp a fundamental concept. I empathize with students who have difficulties with various subjects. I am convinced that anyone can learn, but the pace and the means of learning have to be explored as the means of learning often varies from individual to individual. In the final analysis, learning may not always be fun, but it should never be tedious.
