My goal as your math tutor is to improve your math study skills, study habits and improve your math grade.

By doing the following:
- Assist student with math homework.
- Prepare student for math class, math quizzes, tests and exams.
- Teach student how to study the textbook outside the classroom.
- Teach student to manage their time and develop better study habits and skills.

The overall goal is to increase students' interest in mathematics and reduce or completely take away any anxiety and stress with this subject. This will help improve their confidence in math and ultimately make them a better student.

My program requires participation from parent, teacher and student. I work very closely with the school's math curriculum and the family's schedule.

I offer weekday evening and weekend morning/afternoon sessions. If you require weekday morning sessions, that can be arranged as well.

I provide Winter Break, Spring Break and Summer Break tutoring sessions. I also offer sessions on school closure days.
I offer individual and group sessions as well.

My hours are flexible. I try to accommodate family busy schedules.

I look forward to hearing from you and working with you.

Approved subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.

Microsoft Project

As a Construction Project Manager on multiple projects, I used scheduling programs such as Microsoft Project to manage the activities for my project.
I used this program to manage the day to day tasks, as well as overall project schedule involving multiple contractors.

As a Civil Engineering student at the University of Virginia, I used this program when studying the Critical Path Method for preparing project schedules.

As an Adjunct Professor in a Construction Management Program, I used Project to illustrate to my students how to schedule and manage project.

I have used Project 2013 to create several schedules, with multiple tasks and sub-tasks, showing the relationship between tasks and also used it to create reports to show to team members and clients.

With my knowledge and experience with this program, I can tutor students in project management courses.

Simply amazing — My husband and I are amazed at Bibi's thoroughness and professionalism. My son's pre algebra test grade improved after just one session Bibi. Bibi is patient and seeks to understand my child as an individual, and not with a cookie cutter approach in her tutoring style. We are truly thankful to have found her! ...
