I have a degree in International Relations and Diplomacy with a minor in Russian. I have been hired solely on my ability to utilize my writing skills and my skills and expertise in marketing/social media. I am able to tutor elementary Russian, any type of English (lit, writing, public speaking) or almost anything related to photography. I have always been told that I come up with creative ways to learn/memorize/implement new knowledge.

I work part time with kids of all ages, and I also help tutor classmates when the do not understand the material. I also have experience with babysitting, so helping younger children with homework is something I have experience with. I am very enthusiastic and would love to have the opportunity to work with you!

Cosmetology

As a photographer, I often do the cosmetics for my photoshoots, which includes special effects and regular cosmetic application. Teaching someone how to put on makeup seems like an easy task, but it requires the right tools and brushes. There is an art to cosmetics and it is fairly easy to learn.

ESL/ESOL

I taught ESL at Ohio Chinese School in Ohio, to Chinese children and adults who were looking for extra help outside of school or work, to better their English. I taught grammar, as well as colloquial phrases to help them assimilate a little easier. In addition, I use worksheets, as well as popular television shows and music to aide in learning.

Marketing

I worked for an advertising agency for 3 years, and am constantly hired for my expertise in the area. I am also endorsed for marketing on Linkedin, and spent 2 years of college focusing on marketing before switching my major to IRD. I am a very creative person, so marketing comes very easily to me, and I have been able to make it easier for others to comprehend.

Photography

I taught myself the mechanics, but I own my own photography business, have worked in a portrait studio for 2 years, and have photographed events such as weddings, and various parties. I also interned with a photographer when I was still in High School.

Public Speaking

I am very comfortable speaking in front of large crowds and very articulate in what I want to say. In the business school, I gave dozens of presentations in which we were graded, in part, on our performance. I can give tips and tricks to presenting as well as eliminating filler words such as "um, like, uh..." etc.

Russian

I have a Russian Minor, so I have been studying the language for 4+ years. I have tutored classmates who were having trouble with the material, and come up with tips and tricks to remember vocabulary and grammar. I also own Rosetta Stone for Russian and have taken courses at Berlitz, absorbing multiple types of teaching methods.
