Microeconomics is fun and useful. I enjoy helping high school and college students understand how to use microeconomic principles and tools both to solve classroom problems and to address real-world issues.
I have spent a third of my career teaching microeconomic theory and applications; a third as a US government economist analyzing competition; and a third as a consultant applying microeconomic analysis to issues confronting companies.
I received a BA with Highest Honors from Swarthmore College, where I majored in economics, and a Ph.D. in economics from MIT.
I have experience with research, writing, editing, proof-reading and publishing and can help students with economics papers. I am native US English speaking.
My hourly rate for tutoring on microeconomics is $50.
I do not tutor macroeconomics.
