I'm a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker experienced in tutoring children and teenagers in Brazil (in all subjects, including Portuguese grammar, writing and interpretation; and also English). The class material depends on: #1 - the student's need\interest (listening, speaking, writing, reading or vocabulary building) and #2 - level (beginning, intermediate or advanced). I also will be providing several online sources (news, quizzes, games, etc - all previously and carefully selected) and extra activities where the student will have the opportunity to learn more "off-class" and have all the questions\doubts clarified during the next class and\or by contacting me. Also, as a native speaker and as an English language learner, I consider very important learning about the country's culture in addition to its language. Therefore, I'll be more than happy to provide materials, information, etc; in several fields that will enrich the learning and make it more dynamic, such as: literature, music, popular holidays\parties, cuisine, etc (of course, if it is the student's interest). It's amazing how much you can learn (and how many interesting things you can learn) when you study language+culture (self experience!).
