I have Masters Degree in education and teaching English and Spanish from the Linguistic University of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod (LUNN). I am a Russian native speaker and have been working in the linguistic field for the last seven years in the US.
For three years I worked as a primary Russian Instructor for the Army linguists (Ft. Lewis, WA).I developed and implemented a Russian language program of instruction with supporting syllabi and lesson plans for different level classes and intensity of language courses. For additional two years, I worked for the Richard Milburn High School program for US Army foreign language training in the position of a Russian Language Instructor, Translator, and Editor.
I base my personal teaching approach to an individuals' learning style. I always care deeply about my students and am passionate about improving their linguistic skills. I see teaching as a two-way street because students inspire me to continuously improve my own methods and understanding. I love the challenges and satisfaction that teaching brings to my life. I like to think that my enthusiasm for my metier is contagious and that my students are learning as much every day as I do.
