The proper steps to solve difficult questions will build up good study habits. The first step is to start using graphing paper to work on neatness and to draw a picture whenever the equation allows us to connect the coordinate axis to the equation at hand. The next step involves taking a consistent, neat, and slow pace into understanding linear relationships. From linear relationship, our student can build up to more elaborate questions that pertain to ratios, proportions, averages, rates of changes, inverse relationships, exponential and logarithmic graphs, and differential equations. I will accommodate the student to fit his or her learning needs, and I ask the parent to participate in the teaching process so that students feel appreciation for his or her climb. Together, we can form a helpful team for the student.
I use series and sequences to explain calculus based physics problems. I can tell elaborate stories on all High school physics equations, and I seldom ask students to just memorize. Instead, the student and I will derive equations from basic physics principles.
