My undergraduate degree was a double major in history and international relations from BYU 1971. I hold two master's degrees: history with minor in political science from BYU in 1973 and economics from Utah State in 2000.
I Retired from State of Utah, Jan 2009, but I have taught economics and business classes at Stevens-Henager College as needed. I have been a substitute teacher in public schools since Sept 2010, 6th grade through high school. I have a wide range of teaching experience in church, public, and private school settings. I love teaching and communicate well with almost anyone.
I am a member of the American Economic Association. My expertise in history includes military history, political history, economic history, religious history, and the ancient world. I have studied classical Latin.
I have a working knowledge of mathematics sufficient to teach up to the Algebra I level.
I have an outstanding knowledge of the English language, including grammar and literature.
