I am a graduate student in mechanical engineering at the University of Utah. I have quite a bit of experience preparing students for the AP Calculus Exam. I also have strong fundamentals in Physics, Calculus, Heat Transfer, Statics, Strengths, Basic Circuit Analysis, and Basic Programming (MATLAB and C++).

Differential Equations

I have learned and used ODE's in multiple undergrad and graduate level courses. I can help with basic ODE's, and PDE's, classes. Also I have a very solid understanding about how ODE's apply to physics.


I served as a volunteer missionary in the country of Indonesia for two years. I am fluent in the language with speaking and reading. I currently function as a volunteer interpreter for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Linear Algebra

I have completed a college level course on Linear Algebra. Also I have completed three upper division engineering courses that employ practical linear algebra techniques. I am very good at it and have used software tools in this area as well.


As an engineering student I have had to learn how to apply a systematic approach to open-ended questions. These questions, and other open-ended design assignments, test my basic logic. I feel that I am a qualified thinker that can approach problems from many different angles to better find the answers.


I have used Matlab in four different college courses. Also, I have used it in an employment setting. I have a good grasp of computer and algorithm logic and syntax. For basic and intermediate uses I am a qualified teacher.

Mechanical Engineering

I am a graduate student in the field and function as a teaching assistant fulfilling a lecture role in lab sections. I graduated with a high grade point average and passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam. I am also currently working as an intern in a research and development group as an engineer.
