After twenty-five plus years in the corporate world I attended the Texas Teachers Alternative Certification Program with hopes to become a math teacher. I taught Geometry for two months as a long term substitute in Wylie. Unfortunately I picked the wrong year of the century to become a teacher in Texas, so I accepted a position working in the Dallas County Community College District Service Center and plan to be a tutor.
I am highly qualified to teach grades 7-12 Mathematics in Texas. I passed the TExES 4-8th grade Math exam with a 273 out of a possible 300 score. I enjoy math; I would like to share that enjoyment with students that may need a little push from someone besides a parent or a teacher.
I look forward to meeting with you and your student to see how we can advance their mathematics skills. My first visit will be free; this will be a chance for us to meet and determine what your student's needs are and how I can best help them.
Thanks for your time.
