I am an experienced, certified math and English teacher and a mom of five. I have taught and tutored basic all levels of math, from elementary math skills through collage-level calculus for over ten years. I have experience in helping students identify educational "gaps" and working to fill those gaps so students can be successful as well as working with students one-on-one to help them do well in a difficult class.

Additionally, my degree is in English, and I have worked in a college writing center, helping students to create well-organized, error-free essays. I have experience teaching students how to write effective essays and how to understand grammar and punctuation rules.

When I haven't been working in a classroom setting, I've been giving private piano lessons. My mom started teaching me piano when I was only three, and I have been teaching others for over 12 years. I have worked with beginners through advanced learners, ranging in age from 5 to 50! You're never to old to learn to play an instrument!

I have played the piano for over 30 years. I have been giving private lessons in my home for more than 12 years, teaching my own children and other students as well. I value both reading music and playing by ear, though early emphasis is primarily on note-reading. I welcome any student from ages 5 to adult.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
