Teaching has always been a life-long job and because of the current degree I am pursuing, it is a dream I can only achieve once I graduate and obtain a PhD.
Math has been a forte since elementary years; beginning in High School I took the step to teaching math to elementary students as a volunteer. Not only was I able to be immersed in the teaching field but I was able to teach math with a logical way of thinking to students.
Having grades with flying colors in math courses and Electrical Engineering courses, I tutor and teach many students Calculus, Precalculus and Electrical Engineering courses aimed at stimulating their logical way of thinking to have the capacity of being able to attack different problems thinking outside the box; now, I am the top choice for over 15 students for tutoring and teaching and still as a volunteer.
A comment I receive a lot is: "why don't professors teach as you do?". I strive to make a difference and teach a logical way of thinking to students for general problem solving and learning.
