I currently work as an administrator in Conroe ISD, however, prior to that I worked across all grade levels from Bilingual PreK to Adult Conversational Spanish at Kingwood Community College. I have always worked in a bilingual capacity, so Spanish is like second nature to me. In addition, I have also worked with at risk students in both Spanish and English, taught Speech Communication, and have tutored English II and III. I feel that the relationship between student and teacher is imperative if a student is to perform. They must trust you and it is the teacher's job to show that every mistake is indeed a learning experience. After all, how memorable are the lessons that come to us easily?
Although I am not a classroom teacher, I am a teacher in all that I do whether it be for my staff or for the students on my campus. I am a life long learner and I love the feeling of helping others become successful. Teaching is a part of my daily life as I am a mother of two, a step mother to four, and a grandmother of three.
