A little About Me:
I am a Texas Certified Teacher for Chinese K-12 and Math 4-8, as well as Florida certified in Chinese K-12 and Math 5-9. I have taught K-5 gifted and talented elementary students at TH Rogers School in Houston ISD. Additionally, I taught students from 6th to 12th grade Weld County school district 6, and I have ample experience teaching beginning level adults.
Students of first-year Chinese receive an intensive introduction to Mandarin. Class sessions establish a solid foundation of conversational, reading, writing, and listening comprehension skills with emphasis on listening and speaking. They will also start to work on the 4 tones and form a working foundation of daily conversation patterns with dialogue practice. Students will be able to apply target language in practical life by systematic teaching method and comprehensive learning materials. A cultural component is interspersed with the language studies.
