I have a B.A. cum laude from Duke University and credits toward an M.A. earned at Oxford University through Middlebury's Breadloaf School of English. For 9 years, I was an administrator and editor at the Harvard Institute for International Development. I've taught both privately and in schools. My strengths are English and Writing (National Merit Scholar Semi-Finalist) Math and Algebra, and Organ and Voice (professional singer and organist). I also teach Physical Science and Art at a private high school cooperative. I love to see the progress that comes with one-on-one help, encouragement, and practice. My students find me kind and energetic - we enjoy each other. I have been tutoring in English, Art, Math, voice, piano, and Latin privately for several years, and I am homeschooling my own children (grades 3-16) using a classical curriculum.
