I have a B.A. cum laude from Duke University, and credits toward an M.A. earned at Oxford University through Middlebury's Breadloaf School of English. For 9 years I was an administrator and editor at the Harvard Institute for International Development in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I've taught both privately and in schools. My strengths are English and Writing (National Merit Scholar Semi-Finalist) and Organ and Voice (professional singer and organist). I also teach Math and Art at a private high school cooperative. I love to see the progress that comes with one-on-one help, encouragement, and practice. My students find me kind and energetic - we enjoy each other. I have been tutoring in English, Art, Math, voice, piano, and Latin privately for several years, and I am homeschooling my own children (grades 3-11) using a classical curriculum.
