I am a deaf individual willing to tutor students in ASL. I am fluent and have tutored at universities in the past. I have a bachelor's degree in communication, with an associate's in humanities. My methods of tutoring in ASL would involve practice in fingerspelling, which would lead to building a vocabulary of signs. After establishing basic signs, learning phrases and beyond. If the student prefers, deaf studies and deaf culture can be included in the tutoring.
