My name is Meagan. I am currently studying at the University of Texas at San Antonio. At the beginning of my undergraduate career, I began doing research in Computational Neuroscience. This research drove me into the field of Mathematics to learn more about mathematical modeling. I have a strong background in Neuroscience and Computational Mathematics such as Differential Equations and Partial Differential Equations. I have also made it a point to become well-versed in Statistics as it has trickling effects in all fields. I have a decent background in programming software, including Statistical Analysis Software and MATLAB.
In my recent experience, I have noticed that people, myself included, become frustrated in the sciences. These fields tend to be more difficult because they build off previous lessons. If you miss one block, your foundation will crumble. It is perfectly fine to be frustrated with a subject. I cannot tell you how many instances I wondered whether I was in the right field. The only thing that kept me studying was the memory of once enjoying the subject I was currently enrolled in.
Tutoring is available to get you back on track, to replace that missing block and encourage you to pursue the subjects you enjoy. I am confident that any tutor you meet has been in the same place you are now. This is why we are here; because people took the time to help us as well.
