I have the skills and the knowledge to help you learn. I graduated from UTSA Summa Cum Laude (Highest Honors) in 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in International Studies. I am currently a graduate student at UTSA in Public Administration. My interests and studies, however, are wide ranging. You will find that I am knowledgeable in American and European History, Culture, Government, East-Asian History, Art History, Astronomy, Anthropology, Legal Studies, Political Science, International Relations and general English reading, writing and proofreading.
I am also knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office products, including Excel and I am also a Texas-licensed EMT-Intermediate giving me a unique insight into physiology, anatomy, biology and medicine.
I have a great deal of experience tutoring my college-age friends, my younger (junior high and high school-aged) siblings and their friends. My approach to tutoring is to methodically examine the subject matter at length until the information moves from the student's short term memory into the long term memory. Once the information has been synthesized within the long term memory, the student is free to formulate their own interpretation of the data and achieve mastery of the subject matter.
I understand that your time is valuable so I will make every effort that you get the most education for your hard-earned dollars. Education is primarily a means by which the student is given the tools and information to discover the truth at the heart of every question. This esoteric philosophy actually translates well into more "practical" concerns such as passing standardized tests, passing classes and maintaining a rewarding career.
I love to teach and I look forward to working with you.
