I graduated from University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree this past May. Over the past several years, I tutored at the Wharton County Junior College campuses in Sugarland and Richmond as well as Kankakee Community College in Illinois. I tutored students in subjects such as calculus, trigonometry, statistics, and algebra. I also tutor students preparing for the ACT, SAT, and I am currently studying for the GRE myself. Although my main strengths and degree is in mathematics, I also studied psychology and have experience assisting students with various research papers. I always encourage all my students to have their textbooks when I tutor them. I always use a textbook as well as lecture material the teacher uses to ensure the student the proper understanding of the subject studied in relation to what is provided. I always bring my textbooks as a reference for when I need to use them myself just incase a student forgets or isn't required.
