I graduated in 1991 from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor in Theology. I obtained my Master's degree in counseling from SWBTS in 1998. From 1991 on I have worked with junior high and high school students in the Metroplex area for over thirteen years, a profession that I loved, because I was able to help a lot of students through their teenage years and their school years. However, I eventually felt drawn more and more into the academic field and decided to become a science teacher.
I returned to college and attended the necessary science classes. Meanwhile, I was employed by the Dallas Community College as the head science tutor in Biology and Chemistry from 2009 to 2012.
My passion lies in breaking down difficult science concepts into manageable and understandable steps, ensuring that my students get a thorough understanding of the material in order to pass their tests, grading periods and classes, or end of course finals. My students’ success is my personal pride and passion.
