Parents & Students,
I really appreciate you giving me the opportunity to be your tutor, and I promise a grand success for your investment. My passion for teaching dated years back, while I was in the college, back in Africa, and I must admit that my pride is my students' growing success anywhere they find themselves. They are solid fits.
My research revealed that students run away from maths and science because of the experience they had with their tutors, and not necessarily because the subjects are hard. Simply said, I made Maths, physics, and chemistry easy to comprehend.
I understand the importance of foundation in these subjects because once the background is shaky, it becomes difficult for students to get a good grasp of them. Irrespective of where you are now on these subjects, my tutoring style will take students to the basics so we are both clear on the fundamentals of the subject.
For example, how can you write a balanced chemical equation if you do not understand the periodic table. In addition, the frame work of physics, as a subject, is built on three basic units namely length (meters), mass (kg), and time (seconds). A student who does not have this background will have flaws in topics such as mechanics, Light/optics, heat, current electricity etc.
While is Africa, I was a private tutor, and I prepared students for the West Africa Examination Council, Cambridge Entrance Examination, Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, an entrance examination into tertiary institutions in Nigeria. All the while, I prepared students in maths, physics, and chemistry. I am proud to say that all my students are successful in all ramification because i empowered them with the tools needed to pass any examination with all ease possible.
By the time I migrated to the United States of America, 18 of the students who passed through my tutelage were already in medical colleges, both home and abroad. It was a joyful and tearful day when I was told that one of my students came back from Canada, to look for me at the International School where I was the Maths & Science tutor, only to find out that I had relocated to the United States. I have worked in a brewing organization, where I took charge of the quality control section. The water used in the plant for various purposes goes through pretreatment, purification, and disinfection. I was primarily tasked with ensuring that the water used passed Federal, State, and Local requisites. All these required the application of maths, chemistry, and physics.
I do not have to talk much as a trial will have you convinced. Thanks for your time, and know that your investment will yield fruitful return.
