Jimmy Z.

Hi, my name is Jim. I am the father of three sons and owner of a photography studio. I love being behind the camera to capture the decisive moments and some of those moments are of my sons.

I continue to shoot model portfolios, fashion, weddings and family portraiture, commercial accounts, event photography and more. My true dreams are realized when I pick up my camera.

I teach beginning and advanced Photoshop along with other digital imaging programs part-time at the Dallas County Community College District and former teacher of A&M Commerce.

I am a lighting specialist with a wealth of knowledge and expertise, consulting others on such issues as lighting solutions, color calibration, and digital retouch. I cultivate my abilities in web and graphic design through further education.

I also conduct personal workshops and consult on lighting and digital workflow solutions.

I capture images all over the country and abroad. I am currently working on a coffee table book project about shop houses in Singapore.

Adobe Photoshop

I have been using and teaching Photoshop for the past 20 years or so. I have a degree in BS from A&M Commerce (formerly ETSU). I also have an AA in digital Imaging Technology from East field College which I received 4 years ago. Prior to that I have used Photoshop in the field of photography and have train and helped photographers and business on how to use Photoshop effectively and efficiently.

I have been a freelance photographer for the last 25 years. I graduated from A&M Commerce formerly (ETSU). I do not use film much today but still enjoy making photographs while maintaining the passion of photography. I enjoy photographing people, places and things. Adobe InDesign

I have used InDesign for the the past 5 years. I teach InDesign at the local Community College here in the Dallas, TX area. Teaching student on how to design flyers, Newsletters, and brochures. One of my favorite assignment is having the students layout the Dallas Morning News front page. Using InDesign you bring in images from Photoshop and graphic from Illustrator and layout all that in InDesign program along with the copy form word.
