QUALITY AND PRICE-ALWAYS CHOOSE BOTH! OUR ongoing MATH/CHEMISTRY teamwork leads to STAAR/EOC Exam success, and year-round GENERAL/ORGANIC CHEMISTRY support also enables UTD, SMU, TWU, CC and DCCCD pre-med, pharmacy, dental and nursing students to achieve goals. Overall, global clients are continually attracted.
My focus is to remain a student success-oriented and reliable HIGH SCHOOL and COLLEGE MATH/CHEMISTRY tutor. In starting with the student's knowledge base, my approach considers each unique situation but, basically, involves patient guidance in the consistent assembly of accurate and correctly sequenced MATHEMATICAL and CHEMICAL information. Each step is then thoroughly explained in easy-to-understand language, while allowing for feedback, before proceeding with guided practice using either the student's resources or mine. Therefore, what is repeatedly heard is "that makes sense" because it is now seen how all concepts are linked together. Overall, positive impacts are made that affect critical-thinking and other skills over both the short- and long-term.
As a student, how would you also like to learn how to eat to significantly boost your brainpower, feel upbeat virtually all the time, and expand your power of recall? Then benefit from my 21st century nutritional knowledge. At the first session you will receive a complimentary copy of "The Maximum Mental Health Diet", based upon a self-created international food pyramid. Consistently following the written guidelines works for me and will work for you, too! And parents, this style of eating will even go a long way toward potential prevention of Alzheimer's disease.
A high school MATH-SCIENCE major and class VALEDICTORIAN, I began as a teen tutoring secondary/college students in ALGEBRA, HONORS GEOMETRY, and CHEMISTRY before earning a bachelor's degree cum laude in CHEMISTRY with a MATH minor. A graduate-level GENERAL CHEMISTRY teaching stipend led to a PhD in ORGANIC CHEMISTRY from from one of the world's foremost CHEMISTRY institutions, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Post-college, many middle school, public and private high school, community college, and university students from Dallas and its suburbs have been served by me as a private/contract tutor. Subjects have been all levels of CHEMISTRY, including ORGANIC and BIOCHEMISTRY, PREALGEBRA, ALGEBRA 1 and 2, GEOMETRY, TRIGONOMETRY, PRECALCULUS, SAT and ACT MATH, DEVELOPMENTAL MATH, and COLLEGE ALGEBRA.
After having taught GENERAL and ORGANIC CHEMISTRY at Florida A and M University, additional academic experience has been acquired as a DCCCD CHEMISTRY Professor in ALLIED HEALTH SCIENCES-NURSING (1405 and 1406) and GENERAL (1411 and 1412) and also as an ongoing educator in many GEOMETRY, ALGEBRA 1 and 2, PRECALCULUS and CHEMISTRY classrooms within the Richardson, Garland, and Dallas Independent School Districts.
In summary, students from the many public school districts, private schools, community colleges and universities within the Dallas Metro Area will benefit academically, become better long-term critical thinkers, and realize their professional goals through their association with me.
