I have tutored throughout my life. I helped fellow students in college and graduate school. I love education and love tutoring. I taught at two universities and at Richland College. I have nothing more rewarding than tutoring children.

Reading

I begin by evaluating how well the student knows phonics, spelling and the reading ability. Then we determine the level the student is at and the materials that will best suit the student. I use high interest material to awaken the interest and curiosity in the student. I teach them how to find answers quickly and how to write sentences. We also write paragraphs then to writing stories. I also help with homework and language arts (nouns, verbs, etc.).

Elementary (K-6th)
