When I was a child, I came to America, and since then I have always had passion for learning history and reading literature of all sorts. My friends who aren't interested in reading or history have often complimented me on making those subjects sound fascinating. I have majored in history and received a Bachelor's Degree in that subject, and I also enjoy talking to people about that particular topic. I have some previous tutoring experience in helping ESL students by proofreading their papers and also I helped tutor some third graders, trying to help them get ready for the test and to teach them observational skills, which I've had fun doing.

I enjoy helping others learn history and literature as well as succeeding in giving students passion for these subjects. I know a variety of history subjects such as American, European, and even Asian. I also am familiar with all sorts of literature from around the world, from classics to modern contemporary literature.

I will usually engage a student in literature and history, often asking them their views and opinions and why they think the way they think, and will propose opposing points of views. I believe the best way to learn is to teach observational skills and show them how history relates to today. I will make the subject as much fun and fascinating as I can. Its possible to teach students and make these particular subjects fun for them.
