My name is Jacqueline. I love inspiring my students to learn. I love seeing the “I get it” look on their faces, in the midst of having fun.
I graduated from Lakeland College. Lakeland is a small school in Sheboygan, WI. While attending Lakeland I majored in education with a minor in history. Also, while attending Lakeland I maintained a position as a paraprofessional for Milwaukee Public Schools for three years. I relocated to Maryland where I began my nine year teaching career in Prince George’s County. Furthermore, as I taught for Prince George’s County Schools I also accepted tutoring positions with Huntington Learning Centers and the Commonwealth Foundation.
I have relocated to Texas to be with my daughter and resume my passion to teach.
My teaching involves self- discovery through hands-on, real world connections, fun games, visual aids, etc. I use creativity to achieve academic success and entertainment. The Prince George’s School system has a huge population of ESL students of all levels of fluency. As a result of teaching them, I have gained an enormous amount of training and understanding of the culture.
