I have a bachelor's degree in education from Texas Wesleyan University, and over 10 years of public school teaching experience. I have taught at the primary, secondary, and college levels. I work very hard to make learning meaningful and fun.
As an educational psychologist, I have completed many hours of advanced coursework, and I am well-versed in the current research regarding learning, memory, and instructional practices. I utilize this knowledge to identify underlying processing difficulties that may be interfering with learning, and to design a specialized strategy for achieving the desired results. In addition, I have a thorough understanding of effective study skills, organization, and test taking skills. Sometimes, this is all a student needs in order to achieve success in the classroom.
