I am a senior mechanical engineering undergraduate at the University of Texas at Dallas pursing a bachelor’s degree. I have experience as a student mentor in fall 2011 and spring 2012 at UTD who helped people with homework problems, so I am not new when people want help on their assignments. I am fearless with pre-algebra, algebra, college algebra, trig, pre-calculus, calculus 1 2 and 3.
I am a very good and patient teacher with flexible pricing options.
Additionally, I have 12 years of experience as a violinist. I was the concertmaster multiple times in my orchestra back in high school, achieved TMEA All Region and qualified for All State auditioning. I have the proclivity to learn extremely difficult violin pieces. I am not tone deaf when it comes to vibrato, scales, etudes, octaves, pizzicato, tenths, double stops, and even double harmonics! I can teach bow technique as well as left hand positioning.
I ran my first marathon in April 2009 after completing 3 intense months of self training. Therefore, I can also provide some help and training for long distance and/or track & field.
Other interests include yoga, contortion, gymnastics, hand balancing, design, and music.
I am new to WyzAnt, and every day I am learning new things, so I do hope this is a great opportunity for me to meet new people and share my knowledge!
