I am a native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker and lived in China for 40 years, teaching English and translation. So both my Chinese and English are excellent, considering teaching and tutoring K-12 and college students. I also have a linguistic background, so I know how to teach these two languages in terms of pronunciation, grammar, speaking, and writing.

I have been teaching ESL/ESOL for 20 years. I got a Bachelor's degree in English teaching and Master's in Linguistics, so I know how to teach non-native English speakers, to help them enhance their communication skills and writing techniques for their future careers and jobs.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
