Drew has many years of experience as a tutor, working at various universities, companies, and even privately. He has even more years experience as an ESL instructor for various companies and universities. He provides tutoring in subjects ranging from elementary math up to calculus and statistics, earth science to chemistry, grammar to essay writing, and also physics and Spanish.
He is currently completing the last few classes necessary for a degree in Biochemistry. He lives, along with his wife and 3-year-old daughter, near Dallas, TX. He has traveled quite a bit, both in the United States and abroad. He and his family spent three years in Mexico, initially serving at an orphanage in Chihuahua. Later, his family settled down, and Drew began studies in Computer Engineering. He also lived in Cape Town, South Africa for approximately one year, until returning to the States to continue with his studies.
Drew specializes in tutoring math and science. He is, however, equally as helpful in language studies. He is fluent in Spanish, and conversational in French. He, of course, has a great grasp of English, having spent many years as an ESL instructor.
In his free time, Drew enjoys either picking up his guitar or sitting down at the piano. Between work, school, and family, those times do not come frequently. But he enjoys what he does, especially having the satisfaction of helping others achieve success in academics. His method is geared towards understanding of the material, rather than just rote completion of homework. This is, as the story goes - and so many people like this reference - like "teaching the man to fish." While it may sound cliche, this goes a long way in helping students to achieve true success in their studies.
