My name is Aisha, and I work as an IT Professional. I'm a graduate from Huston-Tillotson University with a bachelors degree in computer information systems (I also studied computer science at Spelman College 96-98), I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my college career, but I did take a break from school and have worked in many different fields: banking and finance (four years), public safety communications (four years), customer service (eight years), and more. I enjoy teaching; I've been a substitute teacher for Austin I.S.D. for the past two years, and I am a teacher to my three beautiful little girls.
I've learned patience by being a mother; I've learned life by living for the last 35 years; and I've learned how to be a great student by practice. I may be a computer science major, but I have a diverse background knowledge of all things creative and educational. Practice truly makes perfect, and I would love to help you practice your perfection in any and all subjects.
I can adopt to any teaching style necessary, because I realize that all students learn differently. I believe that repetition is the best way to learn subjects like math and science. I hope to meet you soon and start perfecting whatever subject you would like.
I have ascertained my bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. I am very proficient in all of Microsoft Office applications. I have used Outlook personally and professionally for over a decade. I am currently a Software Administrator and Trainer.
In my current profession as an IT Professional, I have conducted several training workshops, where I have had to speak to both large and small audiences. I have many years of doing presentations and coming up with a lesson plan for my training sessions. I know that the speech should be concise, and not cluttered with "nonessential" or filler words. I've taken several college level courses on best practices in public speaking. I know that it is best to begin with an outlined plan for your speech, therefore, your audience will have an expectation of the flow of your speech.
