I am a retired mathematics teacher who spent 38 years in the educational system. As a master teacher I have worked with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. My experiences have been in three states, rural and urban schools, private and public schools and even a juvenile jail. On the state test, TAAS and TAKS, my student passing rates were always in the exemplary percentile. Being considered a master teacher I also was invited to be part of the committee which looked over the test questions on the new state testing forms. With all this and numerous success stories I believe that your child can be successful in his/her mathematical endeavors and actually enjoy being in a math class at school.

I am a Certified Administrator of all levels of public education by the Texas Education Agency

I served as a Principal of different Elementary Schools which housed anywhere from Grade levels Pre-K through 6th for seven years. In this position, I not only worked with the students but also did individual work with those who were struggling.

Study Skills

I was a teacher for 31 years, during which time I taught how to study for exams and also for standardized tests & state mandated testing.

TAKS

During my years of teaching and the time that TAKS was in force I taught classes in the subject. My strength was to work with the students who had failed the test at least once and generally more than once. My success rate in getting the students to pass was around 97 percent.
