Biochemistry can be a tough subject to understand at times; I like being able to help people get a better understanding of some of its concepts through direct tutoring.
I have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Duke University, with specific areas of expertise in primarily DNA replication, transcription, and gene mechanisms; however, I am able to help in most other areas as well.
In addition to Biochemistry, I am extremely savvy in both computer software and hardware, and have an excellent command of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
One of my best qualities is that I'm a patient teacher, and my goal is to always make sure that my students come away with a clear understanding of the fundamental elements of the subject being taught; this serves as a foundation for tackling more complex concepts down the line. Not only do I enjoy helping people learn, the experience also gives me a chance to keep the concepts fresh in my memory.
