I consider myself an editor turned director because they both have my heart. I have loved film/video editing since the first time that I sat down at a computer and looked at Adobe Premiere Pro. Ever since that day 7 years ago, I knew that editing was what I wanted to do with my life. My expertise is in Adobe Premiere Pro as well as Final Cut Pro. I've edited various types of videos such as short films, trailers, promos, documentaries, etc. I love to edit.
But then, I went to film school...while I was there, I learned how to make a complete movie starting from scratch. I wrote a script, found crew, held auditions, and most importantly I directed. That's when I fell in love with being a director. Most of my heart, history and experience may come from editing, but directing is the love of my life and something that I also know a lot about.
As much as I love and enjoy doing both of those, I could only wish to pass on and my knowledge and enjoyment to others. When it comes to helping others become the director, filmmaker, or editor that they've always wanted to be, my method is that of patience. I am an extremely patient person who doesn't have just one style of tutoring because I am aware that everyone is different and learns at different rates with different styles. With that in mind, I treat each person as a unique individual. I'm very kind, encouraging, and happy to help anyone, regardless of their level of experience of knowledge of the subject.
